Enter the world of Nova Seed with Nova Seed: The Game, a ‘choose-you-own-adventure’ that lets you interact with the movie through chat.

Part one of the three-part game is now available on Facebook Messenger, Kik and Viber. And to help you along, we’ve created this guide to playing the game. Two additional episodes will to be released on March 14th and March 21st respectively.

Let’s get started!

Facebook Messenger

  • On the Messenger app, type ‘@novasedgame’ into the search bar
  • Tap the Nova Seed: The Game icon that appears
  • On desktop: search for Nova Seed: The Game or ‘@novaseedgame’
  • Tap the Nova Seed: The Game icon that appears
  • Press the ‘Play Game’ button beneath the cover image
  • Tap the ‘Get Started’ button that appears below the welcome message
  • Your chat will start. Interact with the bot by tapping the suggested responses that appear below the text
  • Or in some cases by typing in responses directly.

Kik

  • Download and launch the Kik app (if you don’t already have it)
  • Use the “Search” button at the bottom right of the screen (on Android) or the top right of the screen (on iOS), and type in the username ‘novaseed’
  • Tap the Nova Seed icon that appears
  • Your conversation should start automatically. If it doesn’t, tap the green “chat” button on the bottom left
  • You can interact with the bot by tapping the suggested responses that appear at the bottom of the screen
  • Or in some cases by switching to the keyboard and typing in responses
  • To switch between the keyboard and suggested responses, tap the keypad icon at the top right of the keyboard screen

Viber

  • Launch the Viber app
  • Tap the ‘Public Accounts’ icon at the top right of the screen
  • Looks like a series of concentric circles
  • Tap the ‘Find More Public Accounts’ button
  • Search for ‘Nova Seed’ then tap the icon that appears
  • Press the ‘Follow’ button
  • Press the ‘Message’ button
  • Type anything in to the bot to start your game
  • You can interact with the bot by tapping the suggested responses that appear at the bottom of the screen
  • Or in some cases by switching to the keyboard and typing in responses
  • To switch between the keyboard and suggested responses, tap the keypad icon at the top right of the keyboard screen
